The guest house is located on ranch property; it was built in the 1740’s by the Clem family that originally owned much of the land in our corner of Fort Valley. Since then, the house has been renovated and updated with modern amenities, but maintains its quaint and rustic atmosphere.
Multiple hiking trails accessible within driving distance, including to Buzzard Rock and Elizabeth Furnace. Shenandoah National Park entrance and Skyline Drive are 20-25 minute drive away. Guests are also welcome to schedule horseback riding lessons and trail rides at the ranch themselves.
Access to Passage Creek and firepit is complimentary (3 minutes walking distance on Ranch property) – feel free to take a dip in the middle of the day and roast some marshmallows at dusk!
